I feel that when Darts are menti

I feel that when Darts are mentioned that the name that comes up should be Billy Marshall Jr.  as far as I know he was the longest top shooter in the history of the STDL. It was a name that when you knew you had to shoot against him you better have your best game in hand. I have shot against him many times and I don't remember a lot of wins against him. But I know I was not alone in that , there was many on his list that could say the same thing. When shooting in the league he was always in good spirits and it was a good time shooting against him and after he would beat you he would at times tell you a tip or two. Back then that was not something a lot of shooters would do. I think that is the first time that I had heard the phrase ( anyone can be beaten on any given day ). That stuck with me even til this day and said it to myself many a times. I never got to shoot with him ( that sucked ) but did shoot against him many times. Just to watch him , so easily throw his darts into the same spot time and again made you want to be just as good as he was. I know he is one of the shooters that made me practice even more than I was. I will always remember the name Billy Marshall Jr.

Jr. and Dene were competitors in every sense of the word. They not only played a lot, they practiced often. You knew they didn’t like to lose and they rarely ever did. They were very knowledgeable about the game. If you were fortunate enough to have a chance to beat them, you better not make a mistake, because if you did, they truly enjoyed beating their opponent.
